Finding the right bedding size should be simple. Use our guide below to check the measurements of Jo’s Dreamland duvet covers, fitted sheets, flat sheets and pillowcases before ordering. Our bedding is designed around commonly used South African bed sizes, including Single, Three Quarter, Double and Queen.

Duvet Cover Sizes

Bed Size	Duvet Cover
Single	130 × 200 cm
Three Quarter	150 × 200 cm
Double	200 × 200 cm
Queen	230 × 200 cm

Tip: Match your duvet cover to the size of your duvet inner, rather than your mattress.

Fitted Sheet Sizes

Three Quarter	107 × 188 × 28 cm
Double	137 × 188 × 28 cm

The final measurement is the 28 cm mattress depth. For the best fit, check the width, length and depth of your mattress before ordering.

Flat Sheet Sizes

Bed Size	Flat Sheet
Single	180 × 250 cm
Three Quarter	180 × 250 cm
Double	230 × 250 cm
Queen	230 × 250 cm

Standard Pillowcases: 45 × 70 cm
Continental Pillowcases: 70 × 70 cm

A Few Helpful Tips

Duvet covers: Measure your duvet inner, not your mattress.
Fitted sheets: Match the sheet dimensions to your mattress and check mattress depth.
Flat sheets: These are intentionally generously sized and may fit more than one mattress size.
Check individual product pages: We also show sizing on each product page so you can double-check before ordering.

Common Questions

Is bamboo bedding good for kids with sensitive skin?

Absolutely. Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and incredibly soft—making it ideal for children with eczema, allergies, or sensory sensitivities. Our bedding is also OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning it's been tested and verified free from harmful substances.

Will the colours fade after washing?

Our prints are designed to stay vibrant wash after wash. We recommend washing in cold water on a gentle cycle to keep them looking their best for longer.

How do I choose the right size?

We recommend matching the duvet cover size to your mattress size for a classic look, or sizing up if you prefer extra drape. Check our size guide for exact dimensions.
